DocuLex Search is the electronic document search and retrieval component accompanying the document scanning, content indexing and PDF format conversion program PDF.Capture. Three DocuLex Search options are available: Desktop Search for single-station or local and wide area networks, Browser based Search/Web Internet-based document management. Also available is the Publish version, an easy "point and click" solution for publishing documents and retrieval software on CD, DVD or equivalent media.

For quick electronic document search and retrieval from a desktop PC, DocuLex Search displays PDF files with highlighted hits, keeping all embedded links and images intact, maintaining integrity of original documents. The program also recognizes and supports most prominent file formats. Buttons including "next hit," "previous document," and "next document" allow the user to easily navigate through hits and documents. DocuLex Search first downloads only the page with the "hit" highlighted, followed by additional pages as the user browses through the document, quickening the search process.
